Events & Community Director

As Events & Community Director, you will lead the team responsible for building the culture and connections at the heart of 180 Degrees Consulting Barcelona. Your mission is to foster a strong sense of belonging among our consultants, board members, and alumni, and to ensure that 180DC is not just a professional environment, but a vibrant, supportive community.

This role blends event coordination, internal engagement, and creative freedom. You'll be the bridge between our brand and the people behind it, shaping experiences that leave a lasting impact.

What You'll Do

Plan and execute events , both formal and informal, that bring together members of the 180DC community, including workshops, team-building events, and the annual Impact Gala.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure consistent event branding and promotion across all channels.
Develop and lead community-building initiatives to improve the internal consultant experience, from onboarding to recognition.
Oversee and grow our alumni network, promoting continued knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and professional networking opportunities.
Take ownership of new ideas: propose, design, and implement projects that enhance the culture and operations of 180DC Barcelona.
Track key engagement and satisfaction KPIs to continuously improve our internal experience and events strategy.

What We're After

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Barcelona for the 2025-2026 academic year.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and enjoy bringing people together.
You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You’re an empathetic leader, capable of reading a room, listening actively, and acting inclusively.
You bring a creative, proactive mindset and want to help shape the internal culture of 180DC.

It Would Be Great If You Also

Have prior experience in event planning, student organizations, or community management.
Are comfortable using tools for surveys, communication, and KPI tracking.
Have ideas for how to make 180DC Barcelona even more engaging and supportive.
