Finance & Legal Director

As Finance & Legal Director, you will be responsible for two key pillars of 180 Degrees Consulting Barcelona’s operations: ensuring financial sustainability and overseeing legal compliance. This role requires someone organized, detail-oriented, and confident in both budgeting and contractual matters.

You’ll work closely with the Co-Presidents to manage the branch’s finances and ensure all legal obligations, internal and client-facing, are met with professionalism and care.

What You'll Do

Finance

Manage the branch’s finances, including day-to-day oversight of accounts and transactions.
Prepare the annual budget, in coordination with the Board.
Produce biannual financial reports to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
Ensure the financial sustainability of the branch through careful planning and expense tracking.

Legal

Oversee the branch’s legal obligations, including annual compliance filings and documentation.
Manage client contracts and ensure smooth legal communication with external stakeholders.
Advise the board on legal risks and best practices related to operations, partnerships, and data usage.
Support with risk management and help navigate potential legal issues if they arise.

What We're After

You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Barcelona for the 2025-2026 academic year.
You have a background or strong interest in finance, accounting, law, or business administration.
You are organized, responsible, and detail-oriented, with a clear understanding of accountability.
You enjoy collaborative work, and can communicate clearly with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
You are fluent in English (spoken and written), and comfortable presenting financial or legal updates

It Would Be Great If You Also

Have experience managing budgets for student associations or nonprofit projects.
Have worked with contracts, compliance, or nonprofit finance before.
