HR Director

As HR Director, you will lead initiatives that shape the culture, engagement, and development of 180DC Barcelona’s consultants, team leads, and board members. You will ensure that the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent while fostering a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing environment.

This role blends people management, organizational strategy, and culture-building, giving you the opportunity to create meaningful impact across the branch and prepare teams to deliver excellent consulting services.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute HR strategies for recruitment, onboarding, and internal talent development.

  • Lead community-building initiatives to enhance the consultant experience, from onboarding to recognition.

  • Support team leads and board members in performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.

  • Oversee and expand the alumni network, promoting mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and professional networking.

  • Monitor consultant engagement and motivation, implementing programs to boost satisfaction and retention.

  • Coordinate structured feedback cycles, performance reviews, and mentorship initiatives.

  • Design and maintain policies, procedures, and systems to ensure smooth operations and accountability.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture that aligns with 180DC Barcelona’s mission and values.

  • Strengthen community relationships by organizing team-building activities and leading initiatives such as the Impact Gala.

What We're After

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Barcelona for 2026–2027.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable mentoring and managing teams.

  • Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple people-focused initiatives simultaneously.

  • Empathetic, collaborative, and able to build trust across diverse teams.

  • Passionate about developing talent and creating a culture of growth, accountability, and engagement.

 

It Would Be Great If You Also

  • Have experience in HR, people management, or organizational development.

  • Have worked in student organizations or nonprofits, coordinating teams or managing volunteers.

  • Can implement programs or initiatives that enhance engagement, motivation, or team cohesion.

  • Are comfortable using tools for surveys, feedback, and HR tracking.
