Strategic Relations Director

As Strategic Relations Director, you will lead the external-facing side of 180 Degrees Consulting Barcelona. Your role is to cultivate relationships that allow our branch to thrive, including clients, mentors, and partners. You must be passionate about 180DC’s mission and able to effectively communicate our vision to stakeholders across sectors.

This role is central to the success of our consulting projects and long-term partnerships, ensuring we continue to deliver high-impact, high-quality engagements for social organizations.

What You'll Do

Develop and implement the client acquisition strategy, in coordination with the Board, to secure meaningful and mission-aligned projects.
Lead and manage the Strategic Relations team, aligning them behind shared goals and providing mentorship and support.
Drive partnership acquisition and retention, ensuring all collaborations are mutually beneficial and aligned with our values.
Oversee the mentor acquisition process, ensuring a strong, engaged network of professionals that supports our consulting teams.
Maintain and update key external-facing materials (e.g. pitch decks, partner brochures, mentor onboarding docs).
Represent 180DC Barcelona in external meetings, events, and pitch opportunities, communicating our value clearly and confidently.
Advise the board on strategic matters related to external engagement, growth, and visibility

What We're After

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Barcelona for the 2025-2026 academic year.
You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and are comfortable speaking with professionals and decision-makers.
You are organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple external relationships with professionalism and care.
You have a natural sense for connection-building, a social connector who enjoys networking and collaboration.
You are fluent in English (spoken and written), and ideally have experience in business development, partnerships, or consulting.
You’re excited to work with purpose, building relationships that lead to real-world social impact.
